Group sessions are offered in a variety of contexts including one day workshops and retreats. Group Breathwork includes an introductory talk, a Breathwork session one as a breather and one as a sitter, integration and sharing time. Participants are also invited after their breathwork session and part of the integration to do a mandala drawing and/or journaling afterward.
A one day Holotropic Breathwork™ workshop includes an introduction talk prior to the workshop. This is a wonderful way to learn more about this healing work and 'the setting' as well as preparation for your journey. Group sessions are a helpful and powerful way to connect with your inner healer and psyche. And they are great value. A whole day is the same cost – or cheaper – than an individual session. Breathwork combines deep breathing, evocative music and focused, releasing bodywork.
We ask for a commitment to yourself and the group to stay for the full lenght of the workshop as this supports the depth of these experinces.
The group setting is a powerful environment for healing, growth, understanding and self-acceptance, as well as bonding with others through group sharing. Those who attend groups have often found it to be a heart-opening and empowering experience to witness others’ processes and to see that they are not alone in their healing journey. Sharing the Breathwork experience aids integration and can bring greater perspective and acceptance. Heightened states of clarity, peace of mind, forgiveness and gratitude are common following group Breathwork sessions.
For an individual Holotropic Breathwork™ session we allow 3 to 4 hours with the option to book a longer session to give yourself plenty of time. You will need to bring your own sitter for an individual HB session (no extra cost)
*Important to please note that an individual HB session does not offer the same container that we together created in a Holotropic Breathwork group. In a HB group you will experince at least two facilitators holding the space. In a group setting you will also get to experience 'sitting' for a breather and many people report that this experience is just as poweful as the breath session it self.
