A one day Holotropic Breathwork™ workshop starts with an introduction talk the night before the workshop. This talk is a wonderful way to learn more about this work and preparation before the workshop. In Holotropic Breathwork™ preparation, session and intergration are all equally important.
For an individual session we will start with a chat to find out how you are doing and to go over any questions you may have.
There will be time to get comfortable before the music starts and I will then gently guide you with a relaxation meditation. As the music starts the invitation is for you to find a rhythm with your breath that works best for you.
A safe space is created for you to be guided by your breath and your inner healer. This is a journey for you to explore as far and as deeply as feels safe for you. I will be there maintaining a safe space and providing assistance should you need any support.
Preparation for your breathwork session
Please wear loose clothing and its recommended to eat lightly on the day of your session. You will be going on a journey of self-exploration and this can bring up emotions before you even start the session. Please be assured that this is normal and all part of your process. Lots of self-kindness and encouragement can be very accommodating.
After the session
Good self-care after a Breathwork session is most important and I suggest that you give yourself plenty of time after the session to intergrade. We also recommend that you eat good-grounded food after your session. I will give you a handout with more helpful information on integration after your session.
